Section 150 Notice for a Preliminary Consultation
The Law requires that before we can agree an engagement with you, that we provide you with particulars of the nature of the service we are providing to you, and the basis of charging you for that service, pursuant to Section 150 of The Legal Services Regulation Act 2015.
If you decide to proceed with the service, what you are seeking from us as a preliminary consultation only with regard to a legal enquiry you have for us.
We will charge you €50 plus VAT for that preliminary consultation. The VAT on this is that 23%, so the full charge including VAT is €61.50.
For that fee we will have a preliminary consultation with you, and answer any questions you may have with regard to the matter you have emailed us about, and you can then decide if you want to engage us for a further legal service.
In the event you proceed to engage us for further legal service, we will provide you in advance with particulars of the nature of the service we will carry out for you, and we will provide you with a Quotation for that full service, subject to our terms and conditions, and pursuant to S150 of the Act. If you decide to proceed with such a service, you will receive a Credit from us, for the initial payment on account €61.50.
If not, then our initial service to you is completed at that point on completion of the online consultation with you.
